I totally would, paint it anything but flat black and you have a fun summer car (maybe classy up those rear wheel arches).

"I have for sale my Honda S2000. It is a 2002 and it has a clear title. The car has almost 86,000 miles on the motor, trans, and car itself. The car is set up for road racing. It can be daily driven or drifted (whatever the drivers preference). I drove it plenty of times it is a fun car. Runs good and shifts fine.
As you can see in the pictures the car DOES NOT have the convertible top, windows or carpet interior. All of that has been removed. Also the rear quarter panels were cut around the wheel well to fit the wide tires that are in the pictures on the car. If you get fender flares it will cover the cut wheel wells. "
Goes on to list mods and what not after the link posted above.
Totally worth it ….

Idk if I'd trust the damn thing. Didn't think anyone in Annapolis drove anything like this. It depends if the owner still has everything he took out.

NP all day every day. I wouldn't DD this chassis for a fucking second, but as a drivetrain donor for a Locost with a free S2000 chassis to fuck around with you're never going to find a better bargain.

Well he didn't implying having anything left from his wording … so I'd guess no.

hell yeah. Just buy a C.f. hardtop, and some wide rear fenders, paint it something restcable, and take care of the hole in the hood, and you've got yourself a monster DD.

CP. You can get one in decent shape with around the same or better mileage for around 12k. Despite the mileage, that car has obviously had a very hard life, and has clearly been mistreated. I guarantee that the flat black paint is hiding significant crash damage- notice the white front clip and the gold body tub in the engine photo. Then notice that the hood was originally red.

that just means that it didn't rack up half it's value in damage. For instance, if it was hit while parked, enough damage could be done to trash the fenders, hood, and front clip without setting off the airbags or doing significant engine damage, but still enough damage to make me stay away.

Actually a good point … didn't think about that.

Ha, no problem, we all have typos from time to time. Really though this over a 5k miata 90% of the time. Would be a damn good second car.

and a steal. The engine and trans alone are worth 4500.
